Professor Acker, I just wanted to say thank you for being a wonderful person & teacher. Not only did you teach me history but also gave advice during one of my hardest years. Your class is one I look forward to because we are always greeted with a smile and given the chance to talk about things in an environment that isn’t judgmental. I have enjoyed being in your class and thank you for how welcoming you were my first day and for all your kind words. It is truly appreciated.
